  1. I've only recently gone onto the Hub.My Blue Cannondale Optimo got stolen last year. It is a size 63, so it is a odd size. Have not any of those around. Got stolen at my house in Hartenbos but could be anywhere by now. Cannondale is written in White and it has Pazzaz carbon Handlebars, stem and seatpost. I've put new Mavic Aksium wheels on just one moth prior to it being stolen. If you know of a bike like that on the road, please let me know.
  2. Way to go , more cyclists should take more drastic steps to stand up for us. I see to many people on the hub trying to play the good guy and just accept that there are bad drivers out there and back it up by saying there are just as many bad cyclist out there. We as cyclists are the minority and die on impact whereas the cars get off with a minor dent and R250 bail as was the matter here in Oudtshoorn where a car killed 7 cyclists.
  3. "Listen D!CKHEAD, how dare you hoot at me in a yellow lane !" He replied that I needed to move over or he would have run me down. I went ballistic.. "LISTEN HERE YOU P@#$% - It is illegal for cars and bikes to ride in the yellow lane - it is an emergency lane !! We as cyclist break the law so that D#$%^ses like you are not inconvenienced by us as slower traffic on the road - if you can't behave, the cyclist will be forced into their cars which will be more traffic for you ! Now, the law has agreed to 'turn a blind eye' to us cyclists to use the yellow lane - that does not mean you in your car can drive like a P@#$% ! and try to run us down in the yellow lane.
  4. Is there a article in the traffic law that can proof this. I need it as a reference in a letter to our local newspaper in Mossel Bay.Because it is a warzone out here on Motorist vs Cyclists. Another thing that blows my whistle is the fact that motorists pass a bunch of cyclists just to indicate 10m onwards and turn in front off into a intersection.DAMIT WHY ?
