New here and thought I'd share my experiences with SARS and customs at the JIMC (Johannesburg international mail centre) sorry if it has been mentioned before. But whenever I know something is coming I always without fail, unless it's coming with DHL FEDEX, intercept the package at the JIMC. Most of the guys there are friendly bunch and you can always query duties on the spot if you are not happy. You will also save yourself at least 3-5 days delivery time if you go there directly, just behind OR TAMBO near long term parking.

Hi Guys Trying to get back in the saddle. Last bike was a Diamondback DBR dualie I bought way back in 98 from Gert at Hatfield cycles. I see things have changed a little lol. Looking at something secondhand, in the 9-10k range. I'm 1.78 100kg. My DBR was a Medium if I can remember but back then I was around 85kg. In terms of measurements I'm a medium but would the weight have a impact now. Was thinking of going large?
