  1. Hi all...thanks for the compliments on my Colnago and Daccordi! Agreed...the Campy needs to be on the Colnago...and will swap accordingly. How do you like my old Viner?
  2. Here's my retro contribution. Bought these in a moment of weakness! Colnago has Shimano Sante, (although an Ultegra rear mech) Daccordi has full Campy and Mavic GP4 tubbie wheelset. What do you guys think? Rode both, lovely to ride.
  3. Looking for a KTM 390 Duke 2013 and newer if anyone knows of one for sale?
  4. I should Danger Dassie, good idea. Its just been sitting to be honest.
  5. Just in case anyone is looking, I actually have a Royal Enfield Bullet for sale, less than 200km on the clock at present, and needs an appreciative home. Just saying...should anyone want a retro cafe racer
  6. No!! Bring back the crazy wavey forks! It looks nice though
  7. 2012 Honda CBR, & the missus rides the CBR250R. Would love that big KTM Duke.
  8. @Eddy...thats mind boggling. I never would have thought they would spray them in the factory. Especially coming through customs branded.
  9. And another thing, just like dopers should give up their suppliers, CS should name the person painting these bikes (if he/she is local) as they are in my opinion just as guilty. I personally do not believe they are painted in their country of origin. Expose the whole rotten bunch.
  10. My 2c...Mr Armstrong you have been diddled by these guys. How many others have suffered the same scam but either did not know, or were too scared to come forward? The question is, should you lay charges? In my mind the obvious choice is yes. If you dont, they get away with a crime. But it is a long and bumpy road, never pleasant and at the end of the day, if you go the way of the court, costly too. I do not believe crime of any kind should go unpunished, but give it some serious thought...you may be saving many other people from a similar ordeal...or go the way of a bigger and better man and maybe demand a public apology in return for no charges to be laid. Ultimately it is your call. I can assure you this...their local suppliers could care less about the fuss, as long as they get paid come month end. It is a tough decision, but believe me, they are not sleeping at night knowing you hold all the power here. Use it wisely.
  11. Maybe I am making a mountain out of a molehill here...but, who is spraying these bikes? Is the shop doing these remarkable paint-jobs, or a local artist? If it is a third party artist, surely they should also confronted about their work? And if so, their integrity is the same as a shop that willingly sells fakes. It all stinks
  12. Thank you everyone, much appreciated
  13. Hi guys...so, I know a young girl who wants to start riding, nothing serious but just wants to get a bike and start pedaling around her complex. She is in the Randburg area, which shop would offer her the best service, prices and some honest advice? Any advice would be welcome...
