Geez, how bad is the rust? You should only have a bit of surface rust for that amount of "coastal exposure". Probably a little on the spokes, disks (if applicable) shocks etc. try a little Q20 (soak for a while) and a rub off with a little mutton cloth. Q20 also, when applied liberally, might loosen bolts that are corroded fast.
