This year was my first time riding this event, considering that I am a Mountain biker most of the time, but will do some road cycling on occasion. I seriously want to complain about 2 complete noobs who ruined my whole view on roadies. And road cycling... I started in the BL bunch, and I know it is no top elite seeding, but as we started I pulled the bunch for the first 5odd k's, after that 6 blokes pulled past me to ride in front, which of course I have no problem with. I felt like pulling out the bunch and trying to get up the side a bit more after I heard one bloke said to his friend "push the f***** off the road so he's off the bunch" and the continued to laugh. Guys.. It is a race, hoping people will play fair, because this changed my entire view of road cycling and mostly roadies.. Now I am sure some people will read this and say " yeah stay to mountain biking" but we are all in the sport for the love of it. In all honesty I basically felt like pushing someone off their bike... Which would lead a ban of cycling. Just lifting my opinion here
