  1. Thanks man. I checked out the Manitou Circus 80mm forks. They're the closest dirt jump forks that i could find that matched my current A - C. They're 458mm tho, so 23mm more than my current set up. Excuse my ignorance, i'm new to this, will this make a huge difference? Another thing i noticed is that the other 24" bikes with 80mm suspension (e.g. NS Metropolis 2 and DMR drone, DMR Transition) all come with Marzocchi DJ3 forks. The head tube angles of these range between 70 deg and 72 deg. My NS has a head tube angle of 71.5 deg. I checked the A - C of the 80mm DJ3 forks, and it's 457.5mm. That's half a mm less than the manitou ones i wanna get. Surely then they'll be fine on my NS? Or are there any other factors that i'm overlooking?
  2. Recently bought an NS Holy 2 24" bike from crc. Want to buy a pair of suspension forks but i'm not sure what the deal is, when it comes to which ones to get. I wanna get some dj specific forks. Checked out CRC and i noticed that Manitou Circus specify 26" wheels only. All the others that i've looked at don't specify. Would it simply be a matter of cutting the steerer down to fit? Thanks.
  3. Let's say between R5000 and R10 000
  4. Peach, where did you import that Inspired from? How much did it all come to? And did you pay extra customs or tax or whatever upon delivery?
  5. Apologies, the Brave Machines are both 26", my mistake. Thanks for the tips MissionS. Are there some local bike shops where i can find any of these bikes, that you can recommend? Thanks.
  6. Coming from a bmx background, i'm not too clued up on hardtail MTBs, but i do want to get one for dirt jumps and street riding. My options, leaving price out of the equation, are: Brave Machine 202 Brave Machine 201 DMR Drone 24" DMR Drone Reptoid NS Bikes Holy 2 Revell DXS-R They're all 24", single speed and described as dirt/urban. Which bike do you think would be the best considering : best on both terrains? Previous experience? best quality make? THANKS!
  7. Thanks for the replies guys. I've decided rather to get a new dj/street bike. Thanks for the trouble tho.
  8. I can't seem to find any stores in my area or online that stock any trials bicycles. Could anyone who rides trials please let me know where they bought their bikes from? Any local online store details or shop names would be appreciated! Importing would be my last option. Thanks!
