  1. For the last few years I have happily spent almost all my time in the saddle on my Niner SIR9 single speed-still the best bike that I have ever owned. I've recently moved down to Simons Town and this has given me the best opportunity possible to pull the old Langster out, dust it off and amble on down to the coffee shop. Sounds romantic doesn't it? I don't want to be walking around in my MTB shoes though so looking for some good advice on pedals-prefereably cleat less. I'm also not too keen on big oversize MTB flat pedals neither Does anyone have some good suggestions for me? Thanks Liam
  2. Pant accident!
  3. Magic gear?
  4. Had a nice chilled ride through the streets of Melville with the wife
  5. Took a nice spin along the spruit this morning. The flowers are on form
  6. It was my first 94.7. I was unseeded so only started at 9:30 with MM. Rode on my niner single speed. Was quite tough with the knobbies and the HEAT! I started cramping with 15 km to go. Finally finished on 4:57. Think I could have shaved a half hour off if it wasn't for the cramps.
  7. That XTC is something special. Do the new models come with with sliding dropouts? I'm spending some quality time with my SIR 9 at 94.7 tomorrow. Honestly I'm not looking forward to spinning out on the flats too much
  8. I'm doing it on my specialized langster. Currently running a 40:18 but I think I'll drop it to a 38:18 It's going to be tough. What time are you starting?
  9. 80km? Big ride. Enjoy it
  10. Those brakes......????

  13. That singular is something else! Such a kiff bike
  14. I'm looking forward to nice Saturday ride on a clean bike. I hope the weather stays kind I must admit I don't wash my SS enough. But I suppose that's one of the benefits of a single speed is that you don't have to maintain it as much
  15. That is sick! Thank god its a large How did he get the belt drive in? Did he cut the frame?
