    Cotic SA

Just want to rave about the excellent customer service of Matthew from Cotic SA!!! He's very easy to deal with! Went to great deals to meet my needs even though we haven't met personally. Thank you! I'll try to get more Cotic frames next year!
  2. isn't MX kids helmet too heavy for biking? I think we dont have full throttle shop here in Durban, might check their on-line shop.
  3. Any LBS in Durban that sells full face helmets and full finger gloves for kids (age 4-5yrs)? Thanks!
  4. spyderco for me! btw where can you do source spyderco here in SA? Spyderco prices here are expensive or do you get it online?
  5. anyone interested in a cheap brand new Fox MX/DH kit? RFS: need funds for something else https://www.bikehub.co.za/index.php?app=hubmarket&module=core&do=view_item&item_id=37890
  6. Thanks! Did some research and found out that Maverick Cycles is also a Fox service agent. Maverick Cycles is situated in the Lillies Quarter lifestyle centre in Durban. We cater for all your cycling needs. We are known as the MTB specialists and carry a full range of bikes. We have the ability to supply, you the discerning rider, with whatever you require, including road, triathlon bikes and BMX bikes. The Maverick Cycles shop caters for all kinds of services, including the MAMBA service, which transforms your bike back to that “just like brand new” feel and look. We also have a fork and shock service centre, and are approved Fox Service agents. During October to April we offer early morning rides leaving the shop at 05h00. During May to September, we offer indoor training – bring your indoor trainer and road/MTB bike I also checked Good to Go Cycles and they are the authorized service center for SRAM forks and shox. I'm not familiar with LBS here, anyone here had any good or bad experiences with regards to service with these two shops? Which is better in dealing with servicing forks?
  7. Yup, Hope is expensive, maybe my last option. I searched the net and Fireeye compoments have a 30mm clamp. Is there a local distibutor for Fireeye?
  8. Where can I get a 30mm seatclamp in Durban or a local on-line shop? It's for a chromoly/steel MTB frame (on-one summer season frame). TIA.
  9. I'm looking for a bikeshop that can service a Fox 40 fork in Durban? Which LBS is the authorized service center or has at least a qualified mechanic that knows something with regards to fox forks? TIA.

  12. Great thanks. Actually I was surprised to see different prices when Kerrigan emailed the quote. I already emailed her 3 times because of the misunderstanding..I hope we could sort this out.
  13. Today I tried to purchase enduro seals on their on-line shop. I did all the steps and waited for a quotation. But I was surprised to find out that the email quotation was totally different from the checkout cost inclusive of vat and all. It was more expensive??? Now I'm trying to check their website but apprently it's not working as well? I hope they can fix this and still give the original price on the website?
  14. Just got a pair of crank brother pedals and set of rotors from CWC today. Too bad they ran out of 50/50 pedals might bought some more! Hope free delivery stays for good! Good service!
  15. I just got a CSA membership and this would be my first time to join races here in SA for 2012. Is it possible to enter in the sports class even if I already have a CSA membership?
