unfortunately that stretch is the only way to get to VG.. i would stay away from the dam wall, its only 1 way traffic and with all other roads in the area busy you might get stuck

you need to check your seeding on saseeding.co.za. then there is an explanation in this thread how the batches are worked out using the seeding values. bear in mind that the batches are much smaller for this event, so its highly likely you will drop a group or 2

its about 1 inch by 1 inch, goes in the bottom right of your no board

i did the same for ages...no problems. but then stuck a xking on front, seems more grippy in the corners. could just be mental..

most people run race king rear and x king front from what i can tell

you should have had it by now. but your seeding sticker will be in the envelope you get at registration. thats all you need really

ya the plug kits are great, also take some stans sealant. the best patches are the green self stick ones...but you must also carry a tube. make sure it has no punctures in it!!

vinny, go rustenburg highway...take the pta west off ramp, then the r513(past where voriberg starts.) keep going til t junction, turn right, at sasol turn left. follow that road over the 4 ways stop til you get to VG

does sound excessive...what kit have you got on your bike? just take the basic spares with you. tyre stuff, stans, chain tools and links, lube, unless you have a mishap you should be ok..

ive also never done this race before.....but im led to believe its a very relaxed race...look forward to meeting you!!

ha ha snap on VG. as long as you arent looking to win first time out youll be fine

definitely take a spare with you...and carry many bombs, tubes( make sure they are unpunctured) patches and pump. ( this from experience @ mankele )
