Thanks, the front pads are from BB , the back is still the original Shimano. Much less noise from the back. John I am in cape town and would be keen on getting some of the coolstop pads in. I will distribute them locally Cheers

On road bike, I have this grinding noise from the front when I brake. I Have sanded the surface down lightly to no avail, the noise returns in the next 20 k's Any answers?

The early entry fee for the 99er is a bit steep. R170 ( R240 late entry eina) for the long distance.What is happening? Keep the useless medals and goodie bags and reduce the entries. Cannot believe this still happens in events. ( As a Backup) we saw a DC team who lost one of their riders at about 110k's. The chap got off his bike, loaded it on the back of a car got in and caught up with the team. Got onto the bike again and rode over the line, collecting his medal!!! Makes me Wanna PUKE

The tubby front wheel is installed so you always have your weight over the front wheel. When the turbo fan kicks in at 85mph you might just flip right over. Be carefull this is no toy!! Serious adventure cycling only....
