  1. The_Chav is sending me a old caliper today or tomorrow and ill try and fix it, if i dont come right ill drop you a pm!! Thanx for the help guys!
  2. Hi guys and girls, i need some help or advice please!! I have a XT BR-M785 brake set on my bike, somehow one of the pistons on the rear brake caliper melted and the brakepad sunk into it, so i need a new piston for the caliper... Sent a mail to the bike shop, they find out from Shimano...official reply from shimano.. "Hi, no not avail from shimano at all, cannot service them, got to buy new calliper" Now there is no way i'm buying a new caliper just for a piston! Does anyone maybe have a buggered caliper for me that i can use the piston out of ? Or do you think if i strip the caliper i can have a piston turned maybe out of some aluminum by a engineering works? Any other advice will be appreciated!! Regards
  3. Self Employed hey. Cool, i enjoyed the ppburg fun ride earlier in the year, unfortunately i was still on my 26er then.
  4. Lol what's wrong with the stem length, i bought the bikes like that, have not changed anything yet..
  5. He he nice one. Never thought about it man, to be honest the parts where the wheels go, no problem, they pretty much universal and should fit all bikes. As for the seatpost clamp, now that is another story, that part is custom to each bike. There is a slot cut into it at a angle for the seatpost, that angle differs depending on each frame geometry, then the length of the plank and the depth the slot needs to be cut in depends on how long your handlebar is as that is the part that determines the angle your bike stands against the wall. All in all it was alot of cutting and fitting to get it just right, so not that easy to make for a bike i don't have with me. Not to mention that part is a bit bulky if you would need to ship it. If you would be keen on the bottom parts im sure i can help you out. As for the top part i would suggest to attach something like a strap (see pic) mounted to the wall, you just loop around the seatpost and pull until your handlebar is almost against the wall. http://i.ebayimg.com/images/i/251334592737-0-1/s-l1000.jpg
  6. Here you go... Just a simple pivoting bracket with protection on the inside not to scratch the bike, and for the moment a rivet as the closing pin holding it in place (this will soon be replaced with something more eye pleasing as soon as some free time presents itself!) Open.. http://i463.photobucket.com/albums/qq356/Ravenshield007/20160719_181033_zpswzyratic.jpg Closed.. http://i463.photobucket.com/albums/qq356/Ravenshield007/20160719_181050_zpsb1iniqnp.jpg
  7. Could indeed have made it with alot less effort yes, but i have clients walking by them so wanted it to look neat.
  8. Thanx, no, 19mm plywood on the wheel holds, oregon pine on the seatpost holds. And MDF on the logo.
