  1. Sony Ericsson Xperia Active Sunday morning Local Park Family Cycle
  2. Quoted from the Wahoo site "How it Works As a member of ANT+ alliance, Wahoo Fitness has created a plug in sensor which interfaces your iPhone with ANT+ fitness devices." Fitness Sensors Wahoo Fitness works with many ANT+ heart rate, foot pod and bicycle speed/cadence sensors. " And that's how the Iphone interface's with other Ant+ devices.
  3. I know the Sony Ericsson Active is Ant+ compatible so it can work with the garmin or any Ant+ device which the Garmin's normally are. I also know there are some heart rate straps that's bluetooth compatible. Are the Iphone's equipped with Ant + ?, I doubt it very much.
  4. Thanks, many advised to refrain from surgery, so yeah will do anything not to have surgery done, I must admid from the time I have this condition upto now there is a major difference. Light to moderate pain when walking and standing from moderate to really bad pain a year ago. Funny no pain whatsoever when cycling or swimming, feels like i have a new back. Thanks guys for all the comments and responses. Hope some of this information helps fellow hubbers as well. Cheers
  5. Thanks for the heads up but done the whole trip already : 1. General orthopedic surgeon, MRI, physio 2. Another orthopedic surgeon, X-ray on my hip, Facet injections 3. Neurosurgeon, some more Facet injections and Nuclear scan 4. Spinal Surgeon, Biokineticist. The following has been ruled out, herniated disc, neural entrapment, tumors and the list goes on. Since shedding some weight and the core exercises my condition improved. At this point I can do a bit more than usual before experiencing pain that requires me to stop.
  6. Thanks for the advice I meant factory setting, will take it to my Lbs for a proper setup. cheers
  7. I also purchased a new bike 2 weeks ago a merida matts lite 1000 HT. It comes with a rockshox recon gold, While doing some technical downhill trails at tokai my travel was at most 90%. Are the standard settings any good or should I have it tuned at my LBS. Tokai was actually my first MTB trail so i'm a complete novice but consider myself a little dare devil..he..he, but thoroughly enjoyed and definitely hooked.
  8. Thanks Super J, the more programs for my core the merrier. really Appreciate it dude will email you.
  9. Thanks for the prompt response and I'll remember "cyclist", my Biokineticist gave me mostly core excercise programs, I feel really great after an hour of cycling averaging 20km/h nothing strenuous no pains cramping etc just my heart racing, should I still go for a professional bike fit?
  10. Good day gents I’m new to this forum, I am a recreational cycler and suffering from a degenerative LS3 in my lower back where from time to time I experience excruciating pain down my right buttock and lower leg. I am currently doing some strengthening exercises under the guidance of my Biokineticist. She told me its ok to cycle as long as I don’t do it for more than 3 hours, another Biokineticist told me I should stay away from cycling entirely until my back heals. The thing is I really enjoy cycling. What's your guys take on this.
