I would just like to comment on that. I am insured with Pedal Care, a had a serious crash about a month ago, because I jumped a bridge and did not land the jump properly. They paid out my bike in full. I must say, Padal care did not have any funny questions and my claim was sorted out within a week. Maybe check out their policy! Cheers!

That is so sad! South Africa is so amazing and we have such nice biking trails. Now we have a huge problem with the crime and focused crime on Cyclists. I have heard so many stories and how badly they hurt cyclists. I am relieved that you are ok, we need to stand together and adress this issue!

My most recent crash was fatal to my Bike. It was my beloved Trek 6700 Pink MTB. I am insured with pedal care and I received the best service from them as my insurer. With in a week my bike was assessed, and I received a new bike. I must also include in this that Jaco Bester from Bester Cycles Pta was a HERO. Pedal care worked directly with the bike shop, making my life much easier. The Assessor went to them directly and paid out to Bester Cycles.
