  2. Hey MTB'er in Freewheel Cycology kit that was riding on Constantia Greenbelts on Wednesday morning 6th September, you dropped your Gilet. I have it with me. PM me Rob
  3. Puff, if you're going to offer your services you need to add some information and at least sell yourself a little. Your ad is not informative at all and is merely a few listed items. I have packaged: Copy : Informative and reasonably well written service adverts which describe what you do, I have been writing for a number of years so can leverage off this experience to create content that will benefit you as a service provider by providing information about you to your clients and why they should use you. Pricing: Available on request.
  4. For anyone that is looking for a mobile home to rent for Epic please message me.
  5. Notably one piece of equipment that is very rarely reviewed on Bike Hub seems to be shoes. Given the opportunity to muck about with a pair of Fizik M3B mountain bike shoes, I was ready to get ankle deep into the task. Click here to view the article
  6. With the various race reports that I have done I prepare a template a head of time with the various criteria that I use to rate the race but after only 20 minutes into day one of the Imana Wild Ride I knew that anything I had used before would just not work for this event. 7. So there is an interesting theory I read about restless legs some time back based on how the body prepares for sleep. So as the body starts to slow down for sleep and rest, blood flow around the body slows down and the extremeties (arms and legs) tend to get a little less oxygen. In response to the lack of oxygen the legs have learned that when they are more active the body will send extra blood to the legs and so the twitching and restless legs start. Will try find the article and post the link.
  8. Started cycling in Jan 2006 at 122kg, 18 months later I plateaued at 80kg which is the weight that I am either slightly over or under at any one time now. Best weight since then was 2010 Ironman where I locked in around 74kg's but people started asking if I was sick or something so apparently I didnt look to well. Had to buy an all new wardrobe.
  9. The KASK brand of helmets, as worn by Team Sky, is fast growing in popularity and I had the pleasure of donning three different models from the KASK stable over a number of weeks. Click here to view the article
  10. You should be able to tell by sight if the core is removable, basically a seam or line runs around between the core and valve stem. Post a pic and we should be able to tell you.
  11. The attention created by various diets, controversial or not, has seen a definite shift in attitudes to food types and eating habits. Natural, unprocessed foods are becoming more popular and Raw Revolution got my attention recently during a multistage MTB race. They are one of the nutrition companies trending towards a more natural nutrition option for athletes, so I was quite keen to try the product when it was offered. Click here to view the article
  12. Just about everyone knows TomTom for their car navigation systems but they have now started poking around in the sports watch market. I was fortunate enough to spend some time with the TomTom Multisport Cardio watch. Click here to view the article
  13. That sign was erected for vehicles to use OKW during the race, its been up for a week.
  14. @Kimbles it is and it does ;-) @JoshK I was happy with the tyres but if that's the only problem you have with the bike then awesome :-)
