  2. Max torque on most bikes = 40nm (cassette, centerlock rotor, BB cups) Recommend reversible rachet for BB cup and pedal

  6. When buying a torque wrench make sure that it can torque in both directions (clock/anti-clock). You need this when tightening BB's and pedals

  8. Watch out for this. Result of the little bearings taking rondom paths inside the body. Major forces at play!!
  9. Hot bath in 80% paraffin wax & 20% bees wax. Best lubricated and cleanest chain in town.

  12. Synthetic motor oil (5w40)?
  13. Bearing removal not recommended.
  14. Few things which will fix the pig: True rotors Deglaze rotors and pads Clean with isopropyl alcohol Ensure calipers fitted to "clean" frame (no paint in between) Apply thin (very thin) layer of copper grease between pad and plunger Do the bedding (run-in) procedure If still screaming, strip service calipers and bleed system
