    Saw a set of the DMR Versa Duals on a mate bike, and they look the business... so I've started looking. The DMR are approx R3k (https://evobikes.co.za/product/dmr-versa-pedal/) but the SO is traveling overseas shortly, so I'm shopping there. In the US, the DMR are approx $130, but I've found a few in the $50-$60 range which appear to have decent reviews on Amazon...     Looking to build a custom solution to hanging bikes from my canopy roof rack. (by the handle bar) I can get those parts from here: https://loloracks.com/store/rack but would prefer to support local, IF there's something similar available.

    securing them inside is an issue, as well as space... quite a bit goes inside

    I'm 1.9m, but yes, it's a bit of a challenge. I usually carry bikes with removed wheels, so this is just another bike for me... Have printed a sign that I'll use on the rear-view mirror whenever I carry anything on the roof

    To feed back... ended up taking a grinder to the standard Thule "bolts" in order to get them into the various rails.. Properly secure, and looks the business!

    To restart the discussion... Interested in thoughts about Proride 598 vs Proride 591 vs a more generic option (https://boatssa.com/product/single-bike-roof-carrier-mtg/) Costs for 2 are R5k vs R4k vs R3500.... Torn as costs are a real concern.
