I'm not sure why they've aged like that, salt, sweat, sun and washing chemicals can throw up some spanners from time to time, but it's a relatively easy fix. We can replace the band with a fresh one for a small fee, will just take a week or two to get it done Glad the the rest is still holding up strong

    Apologies FDP, we will look into better descriptions on all the items to paint a clearer picture... we need the site to speak for us when we can't The Racer bib is a good solid level bib, it's got a good padding, good lycra - it's kind of our Toyota level, value for money bib. When you move up to the Ergonomics though, you get some small improvements across the item - the Tycoon lycra used in the Ergonomics is most probably the most obvious one, it's a very high grade lycra and is likely to mean your shorts will last 3-4years+ Other improvements are the padding is a newer technology and some of the finishes on as well are a bit more modern and fancy. Fit wise, they are different cuts, so while you will most likely were the same size in either option, we find the Racer bib is a better fit for the taller skinnier guys, while most standard build folk will prefer the Ergonomic. We will be having an incredible special on older stock Ergonomic Bibs on Weardirect starting this Wednesday, so anybody in the market for new shorts or bibs, watch this space

    Just to fight inflation a little, I've dropped the Ergonomic Mens and Ladies bibs down to R995 until the end of the month on Weardirect http://weardirect.co.za/ These are already great value at full price: the Tycoon lycra honestly lasts forever, the Ergonomic padding is brilliant (got me easily through TransBav and joBerg2c on a hardtail), the finishes top notch - you won't get more bang for your buck out there. Offer valid til the end of June for those of us waiting for payday

    Thanks for the support again Chris, we are busy finalising a new version of our pac-me-shell and it will run into a smaller size curve... 7yrs might be a bit of a push though, but let me discuss the matter with our directors and see what we can do.     We have done this with a couple shirts in the past, but maybe it's something we should look to do more regularly... it doesn't add much cost wise. That said, I've never had anything fall out my pockets in over 15 years of riding... will definitely give it some thought though, thanks for the feedback

    Fat Boab, it's an Elite cut shirt - slim tailored fit... sizing chart attached to give you an idea.     Just a note that we're looking for a junior to mid level graphic designer... the position is largely a layout one (for sportswear), and can be based either in Parys at our Factory or at our offices in Northcliff. Mainly strong CorelDraw/Illustrator skills along with photoshop required. A passion for sport or cycling is always a bonus, so figured it wouldn't hurt to ask on here.     We saved some cash by taking away one pocket so that we could give you a special... Apologies, it's just two pockets - will get that fixed asap. Basically the back panel on the Elite cut is too small to facilitate three pockets, you basically wouldn't be able to fit your hand into the pockets. Thanks for picking that up
