  8. had a nice little fall straight over the bars 2day up at the daggapad...luckily i got 2 stay on the cliff but my bike said he would meet me down at the gravelroad...but the day temprature is getting better and that means you can get on your bike a little later ...
  9. hey guys We've opened a new extreme trail on route to tanie miems and 'dagga pad'a 100m after the poffadder sign...5m over the steel jump ontop of the mountain indicated with a red arrow...my dad recommends wide 2.4 offroad tyres and recently serviced brakes...trail has just been hand made so the surface might be a bit loose and need some riders and rain 2 settle the track...this trail is very technical and for strong expierienced riders... let me know what u think...
  10. they should have the results up later today...
  11. rouxtjie is this the split at the bottom once youve done all the technical stuff?where u should turn left...to the right there is a no cycling sign?
  12. correct we will be open...
  13. Just hit the trail for a sunset 20km beautiful... Had the old man look at some off your positive feedback....showing him how 2 find your locations(your all dead start running)... No i agree we have 2 work on our signage and we have been looking at some ideas for quite sometime...apparently groenkloof is one of the best marked trails in the country We are having a look at what would be best for us... On the upside we are upgrading our maps and ill be on the trail tommorow having a look at some questionable areas and replace race signs with trail signs you guys update me and ill get out there and have a look at what can be done C u on the trail bright and early
  14. the corporate events are organized by the leverage corporation where business teams ride together, a very social event. there are a few of these races over the year in different places and average on about 40- 45km's...the Magalies adventure is a 3 day stage race starting on a 25km night race 75 km day 2 and a 45 day 3...day 3 is also open for outside riders...in my opinion the toughest race we have and i would recommend it to any experienced rider you stay on the farm in tents and the most testing part of the race is cold weather but really great atmosphere and good riding
  15. hey guys the Event dates this year are: *magalies mayhem trailrun 4-6 May *nashua ladies 30th June *Corporate challenge van gaalen 1July *Crazy store trailrun 18th Aug *Magalies Adventure 31aug-2 sep *Nissan series van gaalen 20 oct there are 2 other events but their dates havent been finalised and there is a posibility that some of the dates i put up can change aswell... 16. On the day rates are R40 p.p. and you only sign indemnity once for the year but for regulars you can get a year permit for R660...trails free for kids under 12...
  17. We are open all public holidays exept for christmas and new year... We are only closed on teusdays and tje only times u guys might have problems with riding are on days we have events we close some parts of the route depending on the event im going to post race dates on the farm soon so u can be informed and as i said website will be up soon you'll be able 2 check there aswell i see LTG mentioned signs on the trail ,when u become a regular lile him arrows wont be an issue hahaha no we have an understanding with farmers not wanting signs everwhere and ogten signs are removed my suggestion would be 2 either ask the marshal on duty he should be there from six every morning on weekends only he can give you directions and another option is ofcourse 2 buddy up with cyclists who know our trails.for novice riders most of the trail is marked... Look out for the event dates i'll post them soon
  18. Trails are open to cyclists and trail runners we are seeing more trail runners everyday. They run on the same route as the cyclists do We also have a few trail running events our website is being updated but it should be online soon so you can checkout all the dates
