  1. Couldn’t agree more with the value for money of the Titan Racing brand! Their top end trail bike coming it at R89k with SRAM AXS, Carbon Reynolds wheels - the works! Would pay R160k for peers from different bike brands. Titan truly are a smart choice.

Event Name: Prudential PE PLETT 2020 When: 6 February 2020 - 9 February 2020 Where: Kurland polo club, Western Cape Category: MTB EASTERN CAPE’S PREMIER MTB EVENT Join us for a truly unique journey on your mountain bike, up the Eastern Coast of South Africa : the 2020 staging of the Prudential PE PLETT. The 8th staging of the Prudential PE Plett will be set off from the prestigious Kurland Polo Fields, only a few minutes drive from the heart of Plettenberg Bay and finish 4 days later on a massive downhill flow trail run into Crossways Farm Village. The journey will take place from the 6th of February and follow four days of breath taking riding to finish on the 9th of February. About this experience The Prudential PE PLETT is rated as one of the most diverse 4 Day Mountain Bike Stage Races on the South African MTB calender. The 2020 event will see the riders depart from Kurland in the beautiful Crags and arrive 4 Days later at the base of the Lady’s Slipper on Crossways Farm Village. Utilising the most pristine piece of Real Estate between the coastal cities of Plettenberg Bay and Port Elizabeth the select group of 200 riders weaves their way along the Otters Trail, the indigenous Forests of SA parks , MTO Forestry, The Dairy Rich farms of Tsitsikamma, orange orchards of Gamtoos and the single track heaven of 3 River Trails. With 2 route options namely the LITE and TOUGH ONE , a Race Village with a vibe and all the “Bells and Whistles” that make up this magnificent UCI stage Race …. this is definitely a Bucket List event Go to Event Page

Event Name: Weekend Warrior: Grabouw sponsored by Tru Cape When: 2 April 2020 - 5 April 2020 Where: Elgin Grabouw country club, Western Cape Category: MTB \\\\ Weekend Warrior: Grabouw sponsored by Tru-Cape ///// 4-5 April The Weekend Warrior road show is making its way to the beautiful mountains of Grabouw in the Western Cape, known for it’s incredible network of single track, unbelievable vistas and world class wine farms. Combine this with great riding and a stunning race village … a relaxed weekend is what awaits all entrants Entries opening on the 25th of November! Keep your diaries open for the 4-5 April 2020! Weekend Warrior: Grabouw sponsored by Tru- Cape is a fund raising initiative for the Hoërskool Grabouw High School. Monies raised will go towards a new class room for the grade 4 learners of the Grabouw Hoerskool. Stay tuned for updates on the planned project. We’re targeting the families – so each Adult can bring one U14 for free. Adult Entry is R850 (includes accommodation), and additional kids at R300 each. Also, we have 3 routes – Bronze 10km, Silver 25km and Gold 50km – to cater for all fitness and ability levels. What happens if you don’t want to ride both days? Well, the extra good news is you can also still enter as a day rider either for the Saturday or Sunday, at R300 per person, includes a finishers medal. It’s more than just the ride as we build our entire race village with allocated camping sites, a Chill Zone, Live Music, Hot showers, Flush Toilets and plenty of Food options. With a mechanical bull, jumping castle and kids play area. There is plenty for the little ones to do while the older ones get stuck into some craft beverage options located in our chill zone.   4. I did PE Plett and it was Tough. But you dont go to race to have a holiday you go there to be broken at the end of each stage, to fight for survival during the race. Its not an easy sport and PE Plett is not an easy race. Its a race that you will leave being thankful that you finished it though
