  1. i'm looking for a solo entry if any are going?!!!
  2. Tubeless all the way, the dymanic of it is superior in ride quality. Suppose it all depends on what type of riding you do, but I like fast singletrack and technical sections. Being able to run a tyre between 1.8 and 2 bar for my weight of 73kg is great! I have tested many different types of rims and tyres. the best combination is the real deal, a proper tubeless tyre with a proper tubeless rim. forget about the extra 50 grammes or whatever. shimano XTR / XT wheelset or any of the Mavic Cross max with either maxxis or conti tyres. And choose a decent sealant. Now with the tubless plug kit for out on the trail, if a puncture doesn't seal you plug it quickly, so no need to carry a lot of spares. With these combinations, I have used a small handpump to pump them up from fitting the tyre, no compressor or anything. My thoughts on this are that if you require a compressor to pump it, there is a problem already... what will you do out on the trail? Choose wisely and it will be the best thing you could have ever done. I race XC and marathons regularly and this works! WiLD TiGER2008-09-18 04:05:33
