  1. Hi Guys, Anybody know who the local disti is for Vision wheels? I see the Vision site it says ASG, but on ASG site they dont list Vision as a brand... Interested in getting a set of Metron 55 But dont want to get it if the part support is going to be lacking. Cheers /h
  2. Thx guys, at that price for a frame only - no thanks
  3. Got a quote, R31000 for the Noah, frame only - they can keep it
  4. Classic the only shop i have not been in, in ages! ill give them a call thx Jameel
  5. Hi Guys, Just some feedback; after going through new bearings re-greasing etc my LBS got in contact with Cannondale, the brand manager came past the shop and had a look; Long story short they ended up giving me another frame! Now that is service! Things are looking good at the moment Maybe when the bearings were pressed in at the factory they were not aligned properly or something causing a minor tolerance issue...
  6. Hi Guys, I really like the Ridley Noah, who sells them? I have not seen the brand at any shop i have been in... Cheers /h
  7. @Li - 100% understand how it works i use it on all my carbon parts. I am not sure it has been faced to be honest... Also no cups just bearings (BB30) This could be par of the issue ill phone my LBS and find out exactly what they did or did not do
  8. @Li - I have this at home, has fine granules in it does the Tacx one have that too? http://www.leisurela...sembly_gel.jpeg
  9. Faaaantastic, thanks guys ill give it a shot
  10. Thanks for the reply guys, i take you use what you guys are recommending on the outer bearing race when pressing it into the frame?
  11. Hi Guys, I am sure that most of the guys who ride BB30 knows what i am talking about Both my road and MTB have BB30, my road bike has had the bearings replaced (after 2 months from new) and it is staring to creak again not even two weeks later. My MTB - brand new went out on the first ride last Saturday and its already started creaking, I dont like anything noisy on my bikes and its driving me absolutely insane I have done some reading on the net and it looks like a common thing for BB30, some guys actualy opted to install the pressfit BSA adapters to sort the issue (convert their BB30 to BSA), others say you need to use loctite 609 when pressing the bearings in which solves the issue and not to use grease... Does anybody have some advice or know of anyone i can go to that will be able to sort this out for me permanently ? Cheers
  12. I dont think they are stronger at all, just do a google and you will see... Most of the top brands use the same T700 carbon too. The thing is for 3x the price do the Zipps/Enve/Bora etc. give you 3x the performance over the Concepts? Most definitely not! @Marvin - I must agree, the service from CCD is fantastic
  13. Thx guys, try and post the info i would have been looking for if somebody else was doing a review @Riamich - They are loud'ish(which i prefer), sound about the same as a Hope Evo2 hub (mentioned in the review) remember the hollow structure of the rim and carbon also amplifies the sound. You won't be disappointed, maybe contact CCD and ask him for a demo set you can test before you buy - it will make you feel a whole lot more secure a bout your purchase too.
  14. In fact, i enjoy these wheels so much that i am going to get a set of the "new" profile (not allowed to say much about it CCD will announce once they are done with the design ) that they are working on to make their wheels even more aero, that ill use for racing only while i use these for everyday training and riding.
  15. Have not ridden them, I know they are a bit lighter BUT, the extra weight on the Concepts come from the reinforced braking track that prevents overheating and failures. They also have a two year warranty (as opposed to one year for Darkhorse and BlackSpade), that in itself is reason to go with Concept, as that shows that they have faith in their product and when it comes to crabon wheels, to me, that is an important factor The below link will show you the difference between the usual braking track and the track on Concept wheels. http://www.conceptcy...nd-warranty.php
