Awesome design man! And about the R200, it does suck, but thats the only way they can cover their expenses. The rider turn out is not good

Yup I did, I got all the 2x4's off pallets. And I got the support poles from the poleyard. What I would like to do also is build a wooden start point on the top of that hill which the ladder bridge is coming of. Then I can take that piece of ladder bridge that is touching the top and connect it to the higher wooden platform which will mean that you ride off the platform onto a downwards sloping ladder bridge section, then into the flat part, and then drop off. So the downhill part will mean you wont need to pedal much, if not at all.

Yep it does ey. But I have been struggling for years to establish it into a DJ/Freeride spot which just isnt happening, because of the sand issue. For now Im going to concentrate on the wood part of it until I can find some decent dirt. Then i might want to hire a bobcat to move stuff around. At the moment its a mess down there. All dry, sandy, and the ground is FULL of thorns. So when winter comes ill get my friends quad out and just tear up the ground and make a new beginning.

Thanks man, it just sucks because of the sand. Its really crappy and I cant build proper DJ's with it. Thats why im going to have a wooden drop landing, and a wooden kicker.

The one at the Total Garage (Poles4U, originally DiePaleDepot) is not the one where my friends dad got me pallets. I dont think they have pallets at Poles4U. Ill check when I go past there again(I go past often) Did you get permission to build on signal hill? Because there is sooo much potential there!

I built my ladder bridge out of pallets. My friends dad picked them up for me, I think it was a poleyard in Tableview on Blouberg road. Ill check with him and let you know. Let me know when you are riding/building at the UA track again and I might come up with a friend and help.

Ya im not saying its impossible at all. I'm just saying its way easier doing dirt jumps on a DJ bike. Due to factors like weight and geometry. Plus with a dual suspension DH bike, all that travel soaks up the jump lip and you lose a lot of momentum.

Awesome, I would love to come check it out. FOr the mill I take my hardtail DJ bike. Its much better. I couldnt even imagine doing those on my DH bike

I have no idea where I would like to build I might come up to the mill next weekend sometime, so i'll let you know closer to the time.

Cool man, Im into most music, like house, trance, drum and bass, but the best is metal! House and stuff sort of makes me chilled and stuff, but metal just fires you up! I actually produce some electronic music, mainly house. I have been trying to produce some trance lately but its sooo hard.

No, I just heard that it might happen, no details or anything. I would like to get out to tokai sometime, but im so busy at the moment, im doing this certification, and studying has taken alot of my time ... Oh well, Ill probably be out riding full time by the end of January. Ill probably come on some weekends before that though.

Audi R8's are super sick! I was lucky enough to have a ride my uncles Audi S8, same engine as the R8, but the luxury body and interior etc. It still has the Lambo Gallardo V10 engine, and my, that thing is powerful! You get sucked into the seat as you pull away I waant one! Back on topic, I have heard that there might be 4 provincials here in the WC, which is good news, i just hope it happens. Another i have also heard that Eric Palmer will be hosting a Downhill/Shoot day at Jonkershoek sometime which will be alot of fun!
