Can someone please give me contact details for Bogus. Im in desperate need of a new pimped up ride.

Anybody do this race this weekend? Was as ussual an awesome race but would like to know if anybody also had a bad experience with the timming company? Espesially the the very arrogant rude red headed lady? At one stage I was watching the four of them for about 5 minutes. Two of them were busy on their phones. One was scanning thru a pile of pappers and Red Head Lady was scanning the crowd almost as if she was looking for a fight. In that 5 minutes they manage to miss 7 riders comming in. Had a mate ride solo and they neglected to count 2 laps durring the night. They bluntly refussed to give it to him. Only after we spoke to the race comusiare and showed him the milage on his gps they gave to to him with a bit of lip. Our team had a bit of inside compition for most consistant lap times. So we logged every lap with time on endomondo and strava and wrote it down on a white board. Same story. Their count and ours was different. So I would like to hear who else had a bad experience? There are way more advanced companies out there that can do this with a chip system. Yes it cost more but Im sure the riders will pay the extra R50 person if it means not dealing with the very abusive red headed lady again. This event has been running now for 10 years. I am sure next year it will be bigger and better again. Please! Upgrade the timming system and get rid of the red headed dragon!

Monster is cool. Only problem is you drive there you race it you drive home. Another race another weekend. So think Rooiberg is a good idea. Weekend away with family and a good decent race on top of that! So if you ask me between race or a weekend away and race then its Rooiberg. If you looked at what they charged for the Emperors race to do a lazy flat 40km then this is still cheap! Bring on Rooiberg!

I do alot of the same type of riding and I understand were you coming from. However for R60K I would rather suggest the Specialized Epic Elite. Same price but it has a front and rear brain. Magura brakes and sram ox 2x10 Groupset. Carbon frame and alli rear stay and wheels. You wont find it on specialized web site but they do exist. I bought mine a month ago and loving it! That is the plan for now. Did think it was a good Idea to get more opinions. Actually want to sell my hubs. Need a new helmet and shoes. Do you know the wheels at all?

Hey. I recently became the proud owner of a Spesialized epic elite. The bike has Roval rims and Hubs. From what I have read on other forums it's not the greatest wheels. What are your thoughts? If I had to do a new wheel build what would you suggest? I'm kind of stuck between Chris King Hubs and Hope Hubs seeing that I own a red front hope hub and a rear Chris king hub from my 26er. Your thoughts on this combo? Only problem is I want my hubs to be black.

It just took me 2 hours to read 26 pages of comments, thoughts and views. All I can say is if you want to act like that in public you need to back yourself up. So I want to dare these riders to speak up without hidding behind a fake plat form. Faizel Hendricks was big mouth on facebook then his post "disapeared". Please correct me but we are are creatures of habbit. We always ride with the same people. You want to act like "men". Step up and tel the truth. Even better go to the cops and justify your actions. We all know you now and what your facebook profile pic looks like. I just went on it and also know who your china's are that ride with you and I know people are goig to slander this post or even like it. But someone is also gonna share it with the authorities. Let the rant and rave continue. Ps no caps locks were harmed in this post

Guys Please be careful! The Hub is not safe anymore!!!!! I posted my bike for sale and was contacted by an Nick Edwards (that is if its his real name) I agreed to meet up so he can look at it. To my suprise he pulled a gun on me and took my pride and joy! This all happened very fast and all I could think of is dont shoot me! I am lucky that I got of lightly unharmed from this but now Im minus my bike. Not to mention how am I gonna explain this to my insurance. Please guys be extra careful out there! If the Hub adminastrator can maybe contact me to try and get hold of this guys details it would help.

It is a pitty that my first post on this forum should be of such a nature. Thanks Fritz for making a clean and clear statement on what went wrong and how you are going to improve on the challenges that occured. Thanks to all the hubbers that understand what went wrong and can deal with it. But the rest that just keep on moaning like an 1993 2 stroke high shcoll motor bike! Guy's seriously! If you want to moan lets moan about the supper young riders that seriously lack rider ethic's due to the shitty example we set. Its called Mountain biking. **** is suppose to happen. If you really so concerned about your seeding and times buy a road bike. What happened to having fun, I stood in the bottle neck I suffered but really dont care. I had a Joll! So suck it up Muppets!
