    4 of the Top 10 finishers in the Marathon results actually did the 40km ride and about 17 in the top 60. I crossed checked on Strava (some accounts were private so might be more) Yes there can only be one winner, but if you have suffered on the route you would like actual results! "Top 20" "Top 30" etc .

    Hi guys, Heading to Mcgregor for the long weekend with friends. Mtb is coming with. There are loads of strava segments & routes due to Cape Epic stage 1 + 2 being there & offcourse ride2nowhere race. My question is, are these routes open to ride? Obviously close any gate that might be closed but I don't want to upset any landowners. Any suggestions / advise would be appreciated .

    I can report back after our trip with Emirates that we payed f%#kol extra . 4 guys, 4 x bike bags , 4 x normal travel bags + a back pack each. Everything was within the weight limit of 23kg per bag. Cpt - Dubai - Bologna Bologna - Dabai - Cpt Cheers

    Hi Nick, Yes but you are leaving out height + width. Its pretty clear.

    Yes it is clear, BUT..... it comes down to the lady at check in. It seems they don't really enforce it. Cardboard box = 221cm (nowhere close to 150cm) Evoc bag = 253cm

    Flying Emirates in 3 weeks. Four of us with our roadbikes ... would really suck if they charge us $250 each way. Cpt- Dubai - Italy.

    Any recent flights on Emirates with a bikebox/bag ?

    How long did it take you to finish the 75km? If a rider goes all out from start to finish a gel or two would come in handy. If you cruise around and smell the flowers you don't need anything.
