  1. It's to get more grip on the front wheel and get you into a lower position. If you ever go to Nationals, check out Chris Nixon's setup. He has the top crown on his Boxxer fork on top of his stem! He comes from bmx and wants more weight over the front wheel fopr grip. Wider bars help with control too. Minnaar is the Ultimate Saffa!! Custom SA Flag on whatever he can!! And he's made us proud as Saffa's!!
  2. I got a Shimano Deore BB from my LBS and it fits perfectly. Quite a tight fit, but atleast there's no movement in the BB. And reasonably priced too, with Shimano peace of mind.
  3. Hows the lumo Ibis Mojo HD?
  4. Oh Wow! That looks sweet!! What cranks are those?
  5. Thats what i was thinking. Shimano BB's last, but dreaming about a Chris King one!!
  6. Hey mountain bikers, Has anyone had a problem with an FSA external BB not lasting very long? I've had an FSA Carbon Team Issue crankset on my MTB for 6 months, and after about 35 rides, the drive-side bearing is shot!
  7. Ordered it from Penfords in Uitenhage. They stock the cage too. Mine is black, not silver like the picture. You can tape the tube around the seatpost, that works. Your local bike shop should have them. Found it on the two wheels trading website when I was looking for Stans.
  8. I found it on a website and my local bike shop ordered it for me. Paid R120 for it. Bottle doesn't get any dirtier than it would anywhere else on the bike. It just takes 1 bottle, but works well.
  9. has anyone tried a seatpost mount bottle cage holder? I've got one on my bike and it rocks! Especially for those guys who have a full-susser with only one bottle cage mount. Solves the problem for those who don't ride with a camelbak
