  1. Had major issues with my LOOK quarts carbon pedal bearings... Lekka pedals but the bearings only lasted 1 year. gmmffff! Suggest chaps also consider the new Time Atac pedals. Definitely my preference. Just a thought.

  3. Modder's used to be great. The best old climbs on the red route is now non existent due to wrong red signs and no maintenance. This is very disappointing! Red flows into green and then confusion sets in cutting a potential proper ride short. Even if you knew the old trails you cant spot them in the vegetation. Its getting to the point where you cant justify the R40 Fee!!!! and #The Citec Guy, I WILL send them a note (as ive done before) suggest you do it as well!?
  4. If needs be, (Assuming I’m not at fault + with sufficient “warnings” cries - off course), I’ll apply some SWAT for sure! Life’s too short for threatening ego driven “debates” and broken knuckles.
  5. Howzit Llewellyn... as you know, theres generally a trade off between strengh and weight. I have been riding American Classics '29 hard for the past year over all kinds of terain and have had no issues at all. Im very happy with the set.
  6. Thanks Ricky, kindly keep us posted on the clearing progress please.
  7. Hi Ricky, Very keen and thanks for posting this. Just a humble note if I may. I ride modder quite often and know the trails quite well. However on Saturday (6th Jan) I was dissapionted to cut my ride short as many sections are so overgrown that one has to go at a snails pace and guess where your front wheel is going. Quite allot of the track (Red) one can barely see ones front wheel and have to try and avoid long grass and weeds "grabbing" your handle bars. The result is naturally a slow and tricky ride. Im not sure how this may affect the night ride? I appreciate the fact that it was festive holidays season etc. but it would be good if someone could perhaps send in a cutter to open up min 1 m either side of all single tracks? Cheers and thanks
  8. In my humble opinion, part of the SA road accident shambles is the fact that a road worthy on a vehicle only needs to be done when a sale takes place. ( in some cases thats once!). Think about how much beating some taxi chassis, brakes, wheels etc takes in a year!!) As you guys know in the UK the "MOT roadworthy test" MUST be done on a yearly basis ensuring all vehicles are in good working order and flippen "fit for purpose" !! This requirement is staggeringly obvious!? SA should have implemented this structure 10 years ago.
