So, if I understand correctly, you can get both speed and cadence without a gps signal ?

I believe that the Garmin can only take a single sensor so it's either speed or cadence. If you use the cadence option, then you have to rely on gps for your speed. Is this correct ?

I'm keen to add the GPS functionality to my existing Polar setup. Any suggestions and or advice ? Tx John

Andries Zuideman, 25, faces three charges - culpable homicide, drunken driving and failure to render assistance after an accident. He pleaded not guilty to all three charges in the Wynberg Regional Court on Tuesday. In addition, he faces an alternative count of reckless and negligent driving. Zuideman is alleged to have crashed his bakkie into cyclist Jan Hendrik Olivier on Kirstenhof Main Road in the early hours of March 11, 2006.

The unit is only a few months old after I replaced my 720. The manual does warn of interference from power lines, electromagnetic fields and other Polar devices. The W.I.N.D technology on the new unit is supposed to be totally interference free which is why I'm interested in other user's experiences.

I'm currently using the 725x but am struggling to maintain the 1m distance from another device required in order for the thing to work properly. No matter how many times I ask other Polar users in the bunch to keep their distance, I still get interference and wonky readings.
