Hello Juddy. Firstly its your money, and how you spend it, you must be happy with. Having said that, some of these posts are really humourous. Cycling is about specific power or power to weight ratio. Lets say you produce 300W of (average) power (example average rider) power 300 W and riding weight 101.5 Kg = 2.95 W/Kg (the higher the number, the better) you want to save 500gm ? power 300 W and riding weight 101 Kg = 2.97 W/Kg the higher the number, the better less than 1% improvement My suggestion, lose 10 Kg .... power 300 W and riding weight 91.5 Kg = 3.27 W/Kg the higher the number, the better this is 11% improvement.
