Maybe off topic slightly but I've recently attached a mace spray to the frame using velcro (Builders Warehouse) and it hasn't fallen off yet (I do put it in my back pocket on the more technical stuff but I reckon it will stay put).
Aim was not to name & shame on a public forum, I was frustrated at the time and tried to post on their fb page but it was closed to members only. I was hoping that talking about it on the hub would encourage awareness to the problem - thanks for all the comments.
First gripe of 2014 - group of 8-10 riders just breeze thru a stop street in Melkbos this morning, after I had stopped. Quite a few club shirts in evidence. We as cyclists moan about the 1.5m rule etc but club riders blatantly ignore basic rules of the road? If the clubs can't set the standard then what sort of credibility does it give cyclists in general?
