Thanks all for the feedback, as mentioned earlier and what my surgeon said you can leave it but will have restricted shoulder movement and will take 12 weeks, or repair with plate and all good after 6-8 weeks. The good thing is he rides MTB so he knows the deal.

on the greenbelts on a fast flat section was being a good MTB rider and saw a dog walker, decided to move across between two grooved paths and middle mannetjie, was going30-40km tyre caught edge of wet grass, and then BOOM onto shoulder. I knew it was a problem when I could feel and hear the bones rubbing against each other.I must say a few riders stopped asked if I was ok and one guy kindly straightened my bars.

Hi Hubbers, had a big crash yesterday and will see surgeon today, emergency nurse and Dr confirmed a bad break which will require screws and a plate. Anybody else had this experience as to how long before I can ride my favourite MTB trails again. Thanks Broken Rider/Trail junky

what I am 1.76 and ride a medium I have short legs long torso was told by Spez shop I was a perfect fit for Medium but going for another fittng as feel need to raise seat and maybe 750 bars and slighty longer stem. but had a big off and smashed my collar bone today so no riding for a while I have 2014/2015 Carbon with dropper

I have the 2014/2015 Camber Comp Carbon being Alu rear and Carbon front with 110MM travel. My bike is full XT with Crest and dropper there are not many bikes in my opinion better at being both a trail/xc and if need be race /marathon bike

Hi Hubbers, I have a standard 720MM 6061 Alu bar on my Spez Camber thinking I may want to go wider/longer what would you recommend. I am thinking of buying a Carbon Enduro bar which I think is 760mm I am 1.76M tall and ride a M frame I main ride trails not a race snake but do a few stage races. Thanks

Seems a few impatient people may stuff it up for the rest of us, I agree with Deon 100% a lot has been done in the background. We all want to ride Tokai for many years to come so show some patience for a few more months so we can ride for many more years
