Yes, those are designed more with runners in mind, but they are great products. I am happy to hear that you like it. The new jacket will have an extended tail for those water sprays.
It is a very nice race. Pity about the 44km route being shortened, that was a nice route. Remember guys, its the Soetes and Sop weekend as well... So after the race... Go for a lekker soetwyn and sop in the Breede-Vallei! Thats what I am going to do!

Thank you for all the comments and recommendations. Will post a retail price as soon as it becomes available. As for the collar... Unfortunately, it is not the same fabric as the rest of the jacket. It is a lycra collar. So it is much more comfortable around the neck and will not chafe.
That was some of our major areas for concern and we have ensured a nice fitted, yet not too tight fit, sleeve and we also lowered the "tail" to try and sort out that bum spray factor. As for the pocket... Because this is a waterproof fabric, our logic is that you rather put your valuables in your cycling jersey underneath and cover everything with the jacket.
Im posting some pre-production samples for you guys to see and comment on. We are also contemplating a black one for the slightly more visible rainy days. The white and yellow will serve as the higher visible ones and then the blue and black one will serve as a more fashionable item. They also serve as wind breakers.
With cyclist accidents on the increase these days, are high-visibility clothing still an important option? Or does the problem not lie with being seen, but rather being aware? Cyclists also tend to be fashionable and trend following and some of us do not really like the neon yellow or green colours. What are your opinions on black, royal blue and white as colours for rain jackets? We appreciate your inputs!
