yeah, i also took my board for a scan and it was working..apparently they had issues during the race with the scanners at the finish line. my results still do not exist and the same goes for 12 cyclists that were with me. I received clarification that beer vendor dropped them and only arrived at 14:30. I agree with the goody bag, waste of time...I guess the medals are a thing because i hang them in the pub.

i think you have put your finger on it....i am sure the venues want funds..hence we change every season, they must have also increased the "stand" fee as none of the normal food and beverage vendors were present. The medals became fridge magnets and the computers must have repossesed because they were doing a manual count at the finish. We are however paying good money for our rides so where are the funds going....

exactly...i will take a coolerbox next time...

A very dissappointing day, the organisation of the event was not up to the normal standard, not enough food outlets, the only beer outlet was Bavaria and it was flavoured beer. After getting riders to scan their boards, the timimg was people taking down our numbers at the line on clipboards. Fridge magnets instead of medals. The traffic trying to get back to the freeway. I have competed in over 12 of the Nissan Trail events....I doubt I will continue if this is the standard going forward. Still no results at Live Timing or Jumpertrax for the 20km ride.

I needed a spacer on my new campy vento rims with 9 speed veloce cassette.

thanks, that is sort of what I expect...surely i just limit how far the jockey returns..as there in no 10th cog.

Is it possible to use a 10 Speed derailuer on a 9 speed cassette?
