  1. Shot for the replies, hesitant to chuck dhr on the back as it's a 2.4 and I am sick of roaring and ripping fat, sticky back tires up all these hills! Not riding too much and will either keep the minion for the front once the high roller is done (read quite a few articles which reckon it's not half bad as a front tire - with stellar breaking capabilities) or just return it for another hr2. For the back I'm trying to get a pacestar super gravity rock razor, but no luck on that front.
  2. Hi guys, Had been looking for Maxxis High Roller 2s for quite some time... Anyways, I came across some and bought two. Both are 27.5 x 2.4 3C Compound, DH Casings. Anyone have any clue why they would have different tread patterns? Methinks there may have been a mixup at the factory and one is in fact a minion dhr2. It's had me scratching my head quite a bit. Anyone have comments about the 3C compound? Since I moved from XC weekend warrior, to enduro/lite DH weekend warrior, I've been a Schwalbe guy, keen to give these a try!
  3. I've run the HD on the back for a while (and on front), started with 2.35 trailstar and then changed to 2.25 pacestar. Don't really notice a difference in grip between the two but the 2.25 with pacestar rolls a bit quicker and certainly lasts a lot longer. TS wears very quickly on the back.
  4. Gone I'm afraid... Had some tasty castles in return! Either get from action cycles in town, or Stoke suspension works (Droo on the hub). Cheers
  5. Seems there's no other way... I've been trying to get HR II's for ages but nobody seems prepared to bring them in. Ended up going with a 2015 Sch NN PS for a rear tire... Havent fitted it yet though.
  6. Lucky buggar! Damn nice bike
  7. Interesting. Look pretty fat (wide) too. Whats the damage of each of these?
  8. Just saw the date of the OP. My bad. Offer still stands if anyone sees this and wants those items.
  9. Hey there. I have a bottle of fox green 10wt - unopened. and a 3/4 full bottle of float fluid (like enough for 5 years of services ). I dont use either anymore as i have a RS fork now. Think i paid around 400 for the green and really cant remember what i paid for the float fluid. You are welcome to have both in exchange for a case of beer. Drop me a PM. I'm in CT this weekend but i see you are Vredenburg - will be in Langebaan on Monday for work, so can arrange to meet up.

  11. What a beaut of a bike!
  12. Gotcha. Haha
  13. Not talking about the blue thing. In the box it comes with the procore tubes (the blue ones), as well as regular tubes. They way they describe the installation, you install the procore tube, then your tubeless tire... So why the two regular tubes?

  15. Have you guys seen this? http://www.gramslightbikes.com/2014/08/schwalbe-procore-dual-chamber-tire.html Looks like a good idea, but who knows why they include the regular tubes with the kit.
