  2. I am glad to report back that the mtb Q-Rings works as beautifully as the road Q-Rings. My mountain bike weighs about a ton so was really surprised to pass all the ladies on the first climb. My power output on the flats and especially the hills definitely increased just by switching to q-rings. Led the mountain bike race until just after half way, unfortuntely hit the more technical rocky and muddy downhill sections and single tracks and 2 mountain bike chicks passed me as if I was looking for parking! (it's a shame Q-Rings can't help with a lack of technical skills!!) smileys/smiley36.gif Wannabe, jy gaan nie weer jou tjom se Q-rings vir hom teruggee as jy dit eers gewoond is nie!!
  3. Ek het ook begin met Biopace op my eerste fiets (pienk Hansom) maar daar is geen vergelyk tussen Biopace en Q-Rings nie, glo my. Wannabe, jy sal nie spyt wees nie!
  4. Good advise I?d usually give to other people as well, Michelle. I dusted my mountain bike off a week ago... 6 months worth of cobweb's so I reckoned I?m not use to it anyway! smileys/smiley5.gif Joburg_Red - Q-Rings is the best kept secret weapon... ssshhh, actually we don't want everyone to know about it, especially not the competition smileys/smiley2.gif Q-Rings are oval chainrings, which improves your power output and reduces the dead spot while cycling. Amazing how much difference it makes. Can't see myself ever going back to normal rings on my road bike.
  5. Has anyone tried out mountain bike Q-Rings?? I'm getting rings this afternoon to try out this weekend at the Knysna mtb race and am curious to hear what other users think of it. If it going to work as brilliantly as the road Q-rings, it can only be good!!
