Haha nice nothing better than a christmas ride. I'm keen to ride in jozi sometime, CT as well. Hopefully getting a gopro or something soon so i can show people what im talking bout. But there has to be some peeps to go hucking with round here

No Body mentions Shimano's any more??? A bit more servicing required but worth it i think. They are definitely getting better every year and pricing is good In terms of rims for tubeless you cant beet stans tho.

I wash after every dirt ride, unless there's no mud, if you don't have sealed bearing in the rear watch where you point the hose, and lube after wash always, a super clean chain will rust overnight. Dilute your degreaser and use as little as possible Lube you cables as well. Make them last long and your shift will stay crisp and smooth. Finish line wet lube is the business for cables. To get at them shift to biggest cog, then gently pull the cable and release the shifter without turning cranks, then you can take the outers (cable tube) off the frame and slide them around. unless you have solid outers shifter to mech, like most Scootts

So riding in Durban is pretty cool with lots of awsum people, but the conversations are always, 29 is better, you should go tubeless, the cane was wet today. Is there anybody here thats like, there should be a jump there, thats a cool line up along that wall, do a wheelie?? I ride from Durban North most days and theres so much fun to be had in this city!! so does anybody wanna go fast and take chances????

If theres a gap, take it. BUT Don't get in anybodies way. Be aware of a exit Pedestrians are unpredictable And yea, why do dudes in fancy cars have to race you??? trying to overtake 10 meters before stop streets and stuff. Most entertaining when they HAVE to overtake on a road with speed-bumps down it.
