    Juma flats?

I fitted the spiked Giant flats (from Linden Cycles) for the first Juma and haven't taken them off yet. "Riding" in the crowds was far more confident with the flats and walking in takkies was also more comfortable. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. The Recon on my Silverback Sola 2 also has a bit of play when locked out. When I enquired about it at the lbs, I was told that it was completely normal and was meant to prevent damage to the fork from any knocks that may happen whilst the fork is locked out. It is such a small amount of movement that it is not even noticeable when riding.

Have a look at the JosiCode video ... it looks rather safe to me and is rather impressive. http://www.tourdejozi.co.za/?p=494

Thankfully the Jozicode is happening early on a Sunday morning so town will be quiet and it will still be to early for a Beer. (Unless we find a train to pass!) I've never done a Critical Mass ride and although it sounds like fun, night rides with on crowded streets with booze just doesn't appeal to me. I don't think the the two rides can really be compared to each other.

I'll be going. It sounds like it is going to be quite a blast and it is good to so more than just ride a bike.
