    Thanks for the replies gents. Hopefully picking up the bike tomorrow and will see how the lil man gets along with the grip shift but I have a feeling it'll need a change😁 I don't see much 6 speed shifters available in JHB so might have to test a 7 speed with the existing cassette and chain.     Anyone know if the trails at Huddle Park are still open. Any maintenance of the trails happening? Just looking for something close and short to ride during the week. Thanks.

    I'm unsure if the Scott Spark RC frame is similar to the other non RC models (e.g. 940, which I have). I also have a large frame so can you confirm this setup will work with the 2018 Scott Spark 940? Thanks Lyne.

    Hi all, sorry for late reply, been offline. Thanks for all the suggestions, will check them out. Was just looking at options in case the chalets at tranquilitas, think there were only 4, are all booked out when we decide a on an actual date. Cheers!

    Hi all Looking to do a weekend MTB getaway and ride the trails at Tranquilitas in June. Does anyone know of accommodation (self catering chalets) very close by to the Tranquilitas trails besides in Tranquilitas itself? Just looking at options. Tried to search other forums but doesn't seem to be any specific places. Also, any gpx files for the trails or are they very well marked that there shouldn't be an issue? Thanks!

    Hi Bought a 26" Bontrager XR2 team issue TLR tyre off the hub and trying to fit it onto my XT (WH-M778) rim but seems almost impossible to get the tyre onto the rim, granted I am trying myself. Do I just not have the correct tools to do this (just a tyre lever) or is it possible that the tyre does not actually fit the rim, which is hard to understand as they both 26" (559mm). Excuse if a dof question. Thanks
