  1. Thanks. I will pry the lug off the cable end once I have more time to do a proper job.
  2. Hi, Does anyone know if the rear shock lockout cable is Scott-Specific as it seem to have a curved metal tube near the BB where the cable is routed upwards into the shock? Looking at the curved metal tube it seems to be fixed to the actual cable a few centimeters up the downtube meaning a Jagwire housing might not fit. I don't want to pull it apart and find that I have to order a special part that will take days to get here. Thanks, Ingo
  3. That is the standard end cap, I need the torque cap size one. BUT, your suggestion had 350 in the description leading me to believe that it's indeed a 350 hub and that this one will work?
  4. Guys, Is the Scott Spark WC front hub a DT Swiss 240 hub? The reason I ask is that the DT Swiss original caps look slightly different to what my bike has. DT Swiss 240s Torque Caps and my current Scott front hub caps look like this Ignoring the fact that the top one has larger diameter to fit the fork, the concern I have is the original Scott has two retainer rings to keep the cup in place and the DT Swiss 240s does not but it has a slot on the inside. Could it be that the Scott hub uses the 350 torque caps? I need to be sure as I have a brand new set of 240s caps in the garage. Thanks, Ingo

  8. Is there a cycling (MTB) club in Parys? I am there over the weekend and would like to join an outride tomorrow morning.
  9. Ahh.... so that's why when one of the Elite ladies dropped off our bunch she ended up waiting for us at the finish line. How easily do they get things wrong every time...
  10. Thanks, I appreciate the feedback.
  11. I'm normous :-) LOL!!! +-1.77m
  12. Hmm... seems like wise words that will save me a lot of pain in the future. Thanks, Ingo
  13. So here I am, thinking of getting a road bike after a few years of MTB'ing. I got myself measured up at the LBS and I was told a size 54 is right for me. Is it just me or does a 54 road bike feel like a tricycle compared to a Medium sized MTB? I like my 96'er with lots of space and I don't feel cramped at all. Sitting on a 54 road bike I first of all feel the thing is going to break - well, it's just a mental thing anyway, those thin wheels just make me nervous. Anyhow, the question is actually... If I buy a size 56 frame what would the drawback be, if any, or should I stick to the PC program that spit out the magic number of the universe (54) after being poked and proded in all the sensitive place :-) Ingo
LOL!!!
