  1. I often see mountain bikers in and around the Beaulieu Area and know how much cyclists love coffee stops and a good breakfast. Cafe Bonsai (Located in Sawasdee- The Bonsai and Orchid Nursery)serves amazing coffee!! and they serve very cheep breakfasts so you can even afford it with the cash you take along for the ride . Just thought I would share this great find with all of you :)its a good place to meet up and get your daily dose of caffeine.
  2. A place on Rivoni Road called Bike Fit, Personalized coaching 2x a week for one hour. Its a great training programme that evolves through phases to ensure you don't stagnate and very affordable. They also do bike fittings and repairs. Check it out : http://www.bikefit.co.za/
  3. and my boyfirend doesn't take me seriously when I tell him not to ride the Spruit in JHB alone and I worry, pity its dangerous when you trying to be health maintain a good lifestyle it doesn't seem fair. I definitely agree ride in packs it helps although spinner is good to but not cool when you forced into using it out of safety. Glad they just stole some possessions, not cool but better than what else could have happened!
  4. It was my 1st mtb race I did the 20km and it was horrible for me cuz i walked about 10km in the bushes to avoid the 40s and 70s Id rather tackle the thorn trees then get nailed by those guys. But was really bad that they made us join i felt like I was going to get hit the whole time. Anyway dont think id do it again unless the route never met then it would have been ok I think. Wasnt really fair on the 70s, 40s or the 20km riders. My partner started in J group for 70 and seemed to enjoy it I dont think he experianced how the distances joined cuz all 20s were prob already gone.
