i didnt do 70.3 this year but did it last year in 5:30. Buffelspoort this year i did 4:59, so 30 min quicker..

sorry just read your message now.. yea 2100m of swimming sounds about right for the times.. were you the guy who came 4th? saw his chain come off on sugarbush.. Think I was chasing you on the run, but couldnt catch you..

yea, thats about the distances i got too.. did you also clock 2.2 for the swim?

Buffelspoort went well.. like kingalton said, very tough race.. and that hill hurts.. alot! especially second time around. also ended up averaging just over 34 for the bike.. so must have come in around the same time as you kingalton? what distances did you get for the race? my garmin clocked 2.2km for the swim?

Hopefully they get the distances right this year.. if i recall last year the swim was quite short.. and the cycle was a few km long..

I agree, I did my first ironman this year and dont come from a backround in any of the sports, especially running! training for ironman 2013 My longest run was 29km and before that it was 21km. during ironman i did my first marathon and found it quite easy in 4 hours.. think consistancy in the run training was the key, rather than distance.. I used that free 36 week ironman training program off the net..

Adamo TT = best investment i made on my tri bike. took 2 weeks solid riding to break in tho but once done i never looked back..

Yea, would love to race IMSA next year in decent wheels but cant afford to buy some. Would def be keen on renting some for the race tho..

Maybe a dumb question, but does anyone rent out deep rim or disc racing wheels?
