  1. Hey AquaG, having won numerous top bodybuilding titles and managed to get my body fat down to 3% I can either give you very serious dieting advice or very simple. The simplest and easiest way to start trimming down is to stop eating carbs after lunch time. Except on weekends where you are possibly riding decent miles on Saturday and Sunday and you need the energy, then eat carbs at night too. Try to eat more rice with your meal instead of lots of bread or pasta, etc. For dinner you can eat as many vegetables as you like and can combine it with meat, fish or chicken. Cut out butter or margarine. No Fried foods. No junk food after lunch time- chocolates included.
  2. I ride this route all the time and used to ride it with both the big club groups. Now I ride with a smaller group. They have absolutely no respect. Why can't people apologise when they are in the wrong instead of swearing and threatening. Simply put your hand up and apologise then get out of the way. Whats wrong with people in Joburg that everyone has to be confrontational. I think there is a simple way to sort it out...any cyclist cought riding in the middle of the road should be fined and the clubs should be responsible for policing this or get fined to. In fact any picture with a club member in the middle or the road should be sent to Central Gauteng Cycling and the club should be fined. That will take care of the matter quickly.
  3. Probably the best carbon repar specialist in Joburg is Bill Irving. Gave him my Look Track frame to fix and its better than new. Have seen a couple of bikes he has done and the quality is very good.
  4. try keep your wrists straight, it helps the circulation. Sorted the problem out for me.
