  1. Yeah absolutely insane!! ..so I rekon EVERYONE dealing with sales on our forum, junkmail or gumtree need to keep an extra eye out. Here are some of the numbers to look out for: 0716959712 0790791614 0712907230 0783013249 0728727637 ...be my guest to any hubbers who are legit cops. Try these numbers
  2. That EXACT guy phoned me the day I put my bike in the junkmail!!! ...Ive been trying to advertise my bike through gumtree and junkmail, and have had a scammer try with regard to each site. Ive never delt with this rubbish my entire life, but in the last week ive had to tell 5 guys in total where they can stick it!! That Gary guy randomly called yesterday to say he put the funds in my account, which he indeed did but OBVIOUSLY it was fraud (checked with the bank)... so I told him to F*%k off. I actually wanted to play along so that I could hang him out to dry myself!! the problem is that its not just 1 guy..and chances are id be worse off. Needless to say, there is still 15k that needs to be reversed from my account! and no word from Gerrry.
  3. I would like to know from you guys and gals if its better to sell my Scott Scale 20 as a complete bike, or to strip it and sell the parts? Regards, cpcwheeler
  4. I think if the crooks are getting away with this crap, and the police are "helping" their efforts, then seek your own justice. Chances are, youll feel much better about life and a whole lot less frustrated
  5. Yeah I agree, think im gonna go pay my local station a visit... and hopefully stop these dudes from trying to take our things! Will also be taking my details off and only use PM (thanks Steve S)
  6. Yeah im not dealing with eager fathers anymore... but its clearly a syndicate coz there are a few involved- although I dont think they are educated in the field of deception because their stories have the same foundation. Bugs me a tad to have to deal with this crap
  7. Hey Hubbers, i would just like to find out how people have recently been getting scammed on the hub? After placing my add I received a call from a black guy who wanted a bike for his son. That guy disappeared after I said id only release the bike once money showed in my account. Ive since then received 2 more calls from 2 different guys wanting bikes for their sons. Now im no rocket scientist, but is it not peculiar that 3 different guys are buying bikes for their freakin sons ..ON THE SAME DAY. Id love to hear if anyone else is having this wonderful influx of interest from dad's who cant wait to buy expensive toys for their sons Best regards, Ciaran
