It was my bike. Someone from my apartment block had left the garage door open around 4pm when a skollie wandering past spotted it. He in turn was seen by a member of the Neighbourhood Watch who watched the guy kneel down, pretend to tie his shoe lace and then push a wheelie bin to the back of the block. A few minutes later, having gotten into a storeroom he emerged at pace on my brand new bike. The neighbourhood watch guy tried to give chase in his car, but there was afternoon traffic and he lost him. The cops came, we have a case number and for now that's where it stands. Hi, My brand new Momsen AL 329 was stolen from the back of block of flats in Gardens/Tamboerskloof on October 2nd. It's the 2014 model in black, orange and white) so there shouldn't be too many around. If anyone has seen it in 2nd hand bike stores or elsewhere, please let me know.
