Hey guys Arno at Carbon Works in Jbay repaired a Carbon xtc for me...the top tube and down tube had been sheared clean through! ...he took that challenge on without even breaking a sweat...the carbon specialists in PE said it was impossible...Arno was'nt scared at all...... that frame repair is the strongest part of the whole bike!

No luck...will see if he reposts ...maybe..!

Hey guys ..! there was a trance 2014 model advertised on the hub up until this morning ! It was specced with a 160mm pike and flow ex's going for around 26 k... I remember there were some comments on the wood flooring in the pics! I just dont remember the guys name...! the AD is no more...I'm not sure if it's sold or if the AD has expired...If any one knows the Seller...could you let me know as was just about to pull the trigger on that one....not knowings a killer! cheers

Hey Nick....The guy only contacted me via sms....but at that stage I had only advertised on the Hub....to stop him pestering me I messaged him that the 'cops were on the way' and after that silence! All good now Thanks!

Got a sms from chap calling himself "Solomon" from Parrow who tries to rush you into couriering the bike quickly with promises of eft payment as soon as the bike is on route....He has a congolese accent ....no questions about the bike etc....Seriously dodgy!!!!

Picking my very green str up this arvy from my lbs...cant wait...will post feedback after bashing the Baakens and other trails this dec!

The pivots on my Volcan fs pro ( its a great bike by the way!) packed up ...took my bike to my LBS and got them to order a new set... from Emotion/Evo cycling,when the parts arrived a few weeks later they were used..theads stripped and bearings seized! The LBS I had my bike at could'nt get hold of them, no replys with email or from phone messages...I managed to get hold of them and was told to put my complaints in an email...before i could, the Rep from 'emotion' rang me up and after hearing my rant out...they have appologised and replaced my complete pivot and bearing set..for mahala! So far its taken over a month and the 2 consilations are that at least i have a loaner bike from the LBS and' Emotion' did the right thing...down side was too much stress and lost faith in boutique brands and my Lbs for putting a 100% mark up on the parts!!!
