  1. i they they do rotor parts
  2. dont you wna share some watts with me? 320 ave....yassis!!!
  3. yeah well, i thought they would have an out of warranty policy whereby you pay like 50% of the new item for example. Good thing is, its working better than before lol. I think ill be sending my resume to quarq lol
  4. Exactly Nur, i mean we not talking about a measly 1000 bucks or so. These things are quite pricey. I probably wont go back to a quarq product unless the service centre is changed. Lovely product and works like a bomb, cant say the same for the agent
  5. well all this costed me a power2max lol. school fees was high this time around hehe
  6. So my findings were as follows: The battery compartment was loose and not making proper contact. Report started the unit was completely dead and non reparable. I was advised to buy a new PM for 13k or something. I loosened the battery compartment, realigned the solder onto the circuit board and tightened it...viola...rest is history. Did every test and it connects to the garmin and the legacy windows app.
  7. Crazy how they operate! I feel for the people that sometimes falls in the trap.
  8. So gents I think I should be working for quarq, with done of the tricks learnt in this thread, it now works. Connects to garmin and quarq legacy app
  9. Would this cover the entire part of the battery?
  10. Thanks I'll give this trick a try
  11. So i was under the impression you need to have it on the bike and crank it up for it to pick up on the garmin device?
  12. Older quarq spider. So previously it was completely dead and upon turning the battery cap on, the entire compartment used to turn. I took the spider off the crank and have the compartment a good clean and tightened it. When I put the battery (2032) the red light comes on now. I'm not sure if it picks up on Garmin as does it not have to be on the crank to become visible?
  13. Hi there, I have a power that has slight connection problem. I assume the battery compartment is not making proper contact to the pm. Had the agents check it out however, they obviously will say it's completely busted and "recommend" you purchase a newer later version. Does any know a good techie that can have a look at it in the Cape town area?
  14. i literally have tried an array of hacks to get it to work. Lets hope its something small though.
  15. Yean have the dongle or else it won't send a signal to the PC. I think my best bet to is to book it in and have the agents check it out
  16. Quick question, can it be the little metal plate that has the magnet on that sends signals back to the PM that can be the problem?
  17. The new app is the axs isn't it? I think I hat only for the newer PM's
  18. Tried deleting it and adding the PM again to both the Fenix and edge
  19. Both my Fenix and edge had updated software
  20. I have tried using the legacy software for Windows, doesn't connect any longer to it. As of last night the light doesn't seem to go on either of the PM.
