That lady said that she has got pictures of all the perpetrators. Why DQ the whole group? And why not DQ the ones who dropped with a few km's to go and still get a result? And on the flip-side, she was alone in the car taking pictures with her cellphone, in this country its illegal to use your phone while driving. I know 2 wrongs don't make a right. But there is too many inconsistencies here. Organizers complain the numbers drop at races, here we had a HUGE bunch with some real positive racing and then suddenly rules have to apply to certain people. This surely hurt the next event.

What is very funny about the VA race also. Guys that was with the DQ group dropped after we got DQ'ed and still received results. So WTF?

Like you say Clay, its racing. I really just wanted to have a lekker race yesterday and how else than to take the racing to the guys. Really tried to force a break which didnt happen. Well done again to your guys for the win.

Sorry Clay, must have been one of your team mates that just got past me. Really looked like he was not existant the whole race until the finish.

I am one of those guys in the Lenmed kit. Well done on the guys that tried to get away with me. I ride the Ridley. Tried to set my buddy up for the sprint but at the end landed up to sprint myself. One of the guys who sucked wheel the whole race with the Fit kit on just nipped me on the line. Got 2nd in the end though.

And you havent been a 'first time' poster? I am sure you havent been called a "troll". And nice way to treat people you dont know. Easy to post over the internet. By the looks of it you could have helped at registration.

Joe Low, jip, it still happens that people have a first post. Hehe. But Sharkie, my gripe is just that these people have double standards no 1, cos at some races the easily do a seeding for late entries and no 2, they can at least have decency to treat people like people and not some scum from the street

Ok, so I am sure for most of you this is old news but thought I have to say something about this. This morning at registration of this year's Emperors Palace race my fiance was so yelled at as far as I am concerned for no reason at all. Ja maybe I want to make my voice heard because she was yelled at but I still feel there is no reason for organisers to handle "customers" like that. She had to pick up numbers and also do a late entry for a mate of ours. She asked whether the mate could be seeded, simple question. And this lady took her tantrum out on my fiance. Honestly, some of these people who collect our numbers are doing us a favor and dont deserve this. It was maybe not the right thing to ask for a seeding but the attitude wasnt necessary where you clearly volunteered to organise this race and then to work with potential reseedings. Apperently as I understood afterwards is that they are from ASG. So ASG, get your people some skills please!!!
