As it was my KCNC stem that broke I agree that the accident could have been worse. Just 2 km furter it was the douwnhill side of Tradouspass. 70 kph round the bend. I dont want to think about that. I also agree that we dont want faults of that kind by any means because it is too dangerous. I must really say that the concern of the KCNC agent was really impressive. His respond to me and the follow up was really very professional . His follow up was even better. he is still keping contact with me in connection the stem. My feeling about the case is that it is possible that anything made by man can brake for some or other reason. We dont know for sure that W.E who put the parts together dit torque it correct. So we can not put the blame blindly on the product. There can be another reason also. The impotant thing from my side is the way the problem is beiing dealt with and that everyboby must try to learn out of the mistakes other people make. The most important thing I learn out of this happening that to trust nobody completely on your bicycle. Tjek their work and go through everything they have done because it is only one person on the bicycle an that is yourself. KCNC do make such special products that they also is part of the lekkerte of bicycling. Lets give them a chance and I shall keep you informed on the progress of the investigation. Before I forget, the most important thing I learned out of the accident is enjoy your cycling everyday you are healthy and on your 2 wheels because it is probably the best sport to be.
