This is going to be my first race ever, hopefully I can get a decent speed on that huge downhill! I'm doing the 55km ride, and I'm in the BM class. Does the BM stand for "beer-gut men"?

I was there this morning with my buddy, he had 2 punctures and each time we had to stop there were lots of friendly people who offered help. It was really hot after 10:00 and the sun burnt me to a crisp :-/ Tomorrow we ride the Cradle with some roadie friends, but I'd love to have another ride at NF before I start work on the 6th Jan. I usually do around 35-50km @15-20km/h, if anyone wants to go next week Tuesday-Friday PM me and we can ride together; I was riding NF this Tuesday and I was the only cyclist on the trails for 3 hours, and some areas I was wondering what I would do if I got hurt etc.
