  1. Is anyone aware of any scientific comparison between Osymetric and normal blades? It seems like everyone (including some of the hubbers who has commented above) who claims they improve performance, also say they have no data or stats to support their claims.
  2. The short ride I mentioned in my original topic post, was with Sram red 22 and the chain was constantly rubbing against the front derailer. I think your comment is probably my answer. The noise and awkwardness will override any gains for me. I like a quiet, smooth drivetrain and any rubbing, clicking and changing trouble drives me up the wall. Thanks for your post.
  3. OK guys. Sorry about the grammatical error. I've edited my topic accordingly. I was actually referring to the brand Osymetric as I'm interested in teir specific "asymmetric" shaped rings.
  4. Is there anyone of you with first hand experience who can tell me if these really give you an advantage? I've seen claims of 10% increase in kw and that they are supposed to encourage the "back-pull". Also eliminating the "dead spot". I've had a short 10 minute ride on a bike with osymetric chain rings, but to me it seemed like "dubstepping" your pedal action and confusing your front derailer while you're hopping down the road. Any opinions?
  5. I've attached a pic to original topic for any other comments.
  6. Thanks Dee_Biker and MH for Short. This is very useful information. Hey Goose1111. Your opportunistic offer x 11. Are you interested?
