  9. I agree with Sean Badenhorst. Cramping can occur during unfamiliar exercise or when the body is fatigued. The fact that you cramped just before the end of the race seems to support this. Take it easy for the next couple of days and make sure you get the long rides in so you don't get fatigued during Knysna.

  24. Hi everyone UCT's research unit for Exercise Science and Sports Medicine is conducting a high intensity interval training study. We are looking for well trained male cyclists between 18 and 45 who are not racing before the Argus. We are doing more groups after the Argus so if you are available then, then please let me know. You will follow a strict training program for two weeks which includes four high intensity interval sessions which will be supervised in our labs. You will also receive two free Peak Power Output/VO2max tests as well as analysis of your results. Following successful completion of the training study you will receive a free four week individualised training program drawn up by consultants of High Performance Cycling at the Sport Science Institute.
